This in my opinion is the smallest and safest EDC for the smallest effective caliber, double action with a manual safety is very practical for a pocket carry.

Caveat: S&W makes quality guns, including this MP 380. It's small, think and is perfect size for a CCW.

That said, its trigger is *awful*. It's a DA and the travel distance is so long that I would suspect it would defeat the purpose of this gun(CCW).

I don't have large hands but I found the trigger travel distance too great. Someone with large hands would probably find this gun unusable.

I wound up replacing this with a different manufacturers SA model and safety.

This was my second purchase through Kentucky Gun Co. I have put over 500 rounds through it in the last 2 weeks and I had no FTFs or FTEs. You pull the trigger it goes bang! The longer trigger pull was easy to get a feel for as I have a Ruger LC9 also. I feel more comfortable having the longer trigger pull for what this firearm I think was designed for. If you are looking for a great carry piece in 380, look no more and get the M&P Bodyguard 380.
