I purchased an M&P15 from KYGunCo and had my rifle in about a week and a half. Awesome shipping time, was so excited to get it and take it out. Went to chamber my first round and it jams. Ok it happens. Try a second: jams again. Ok something is up. Pull back the bolt and look in, and the feed ramp is literally installed wrong. Instead of at the 6 o’clock position, it’s at the 9 o’clock. Impossible to chamber a round. Took it to my local gunsmith who also confirmed. Shipped it back to Smith and Wesson to have them repair it. I’m not sure if it was sent by S&W to them like that for sale, or if someone tampered with the rifle after it was manufactured, but nevertheless it would even load a round. Check your firearms as soon as you can if you don’t have it in your hands before you buy. Lessons learned. Happy I got the rifle, extremely upset I had to send it back to manufacturer.
