HK USA VP9 9mm 4.09" 3 - 17rd Mags Pistol w/ Night Sights - FDE / Black

Caught this VP9 on sale for 519 my LGS had the same model for 989 so I think I did good choosing KYGUNCO to ship it to them! Shoots well too just a little bit snappy but nothing that's not controllable plus you can't go wrong with the night sights and 3 magazines.

Wow! I've long been a fan of the S&W M&P series, and the P320 series (and more recently the M17 variant). But after spending a few weeks with the VP9 - including multiple range trips down on the farm, I'm quickly becoming convinced that the VP9 is better. It just feels more "industrial" - but at the same time it feels refined. It performs flawlessly, and is accurate - more accurate than I am anyway. It feels good in the hand - and I now look like a pro with rapid follow-up shots. Love it!

I wasn’t even looking for another pistol when this “too good to be true” offer popped up. Brand new HK VP9 w/ night sights and 3 17rd magazines for $519. But wait it gets even better. HK was offering $200 for use on their web store with this purchase. So $550 (with tax) purchased roughly $900 to $950 worth of high quality gear. Deals like this usually are too good to be true, but in this case it turned out to be a truly awesome deal and New Year’s present for myself. The Bardstown store was absolutely packed on the day I showed up to pick up the pistol, but everyone was super friendly, patient, and helpful. I definitely will be purchasing from KY Gun Co again. Gun is great but the service from Kygunco is awesome!

I wouldn't exactly call myself a Glock fan, but happen to have more of those than any other poly guns. This was my first foray into the HK pistols and the price was good and the rebate made the decision easy. This IS the product Glock should be putting out, but won't. While HK made the first poly gun, Glock took the idea and ran with it like Forrest Gump. Now other companies are doing Glock better than Glock, and HK is one of them.

It's a high quality gun with excellent sights and a good trigger. The trigger is on par with the PPQ. The modular grip while not a chassis gun like SIG, does offer a pretty neat idea with the changeable side panels, making for a right hand or left hand gun. The ambi controls are pretty rudimentary compared to others, but workable.

The gun fed and fired my chosen hollow points just fine with zero malfunctions and stands as the only polymer gun I own out of a half dozen brands, that dead center struck the primer with no smearing. It won't be my last HK.
