FUSION FIREARMS RIPTIDE 1911 9mm 4.3" 7rd Pistol - Black w/ Cocobolo Grips

Very nice weapon and KYGUNCO always has a great price.

This is a very nice handgun but it was not a Fusion Riptide-C I am still not sure what it is. But its a Fusion Riptide and is a really nice gun. I really like it but what can you say.

Here are the cons: The pistol came packed in cosmoline and had a lot of packing material debris that had to be cleaned (even from the firing pin well). The front sight was bent or poorly machined. It is a fiber optic rod type sight but only had a white, opaque rod. I think they should've added a FO rod because they aren't that expensive. The Mecgar mag that was supplied has a bad crimp in it or something because putting in the 4th round, it would catch. This caused feeding issues. The grips have a couple of cracks probably from storage or transit. Too bad too because they are gorgeous.

The pros: This pistol is packed with feature that aren't found at this price point. It has a nice finish. The fit is really nice. After replacing the factor mag with Ruger 9MM mags, it shoots like a dream.

It is well worth the money. If I had it to do over, I'd order straight from Fusion and request a fiber optic rod and a once over for quality items as are listed in my "cons". But, I would buy this one again.
