My first outing with this rifle out of the box was disappointing. Feeding, extracting, ejecting and accuracy issues. But after cleaning and properly lubing, and getting a feel for how the bolt likes to be run (with authority) I've had no more problems, and I'm pleased with accuracy despite a stiff trigger. I find the higher rise on the stock to be comfortable.

Mine came with 1/2×28 threads but are a tad long so I'll need a spacer or have them trimmed back. Otherwise I really like the rifle. Nice quick bolt throw. Bolt handle is at flat 90 degrees from receiver when open. Leaves scope mounting WIDE OPEN. Trigger pull is heavier than I like and came at lowest setting but plan on swapping the spring out. Stock has a nice feel to it and is better than most OEM plastic fantastics out there. Good thing because there is no aftermarket anything for this rifle. Seems to have be not imported anymore. Weight is closer to 5-5.5lbs bare. Cane with 2 mags. Haven't shot it yet due to snow in ND but all reviews and from what I see, it should be a keeper. Wish I'd of bought a couple.

Nice rifle, fun to shoot, not quite as accurate as my Ruger Americal 22. Excellent safety as far as how it functions but is very difficult to use. Push forward for safe and pull back for fire, it sticks and is hard to move. Had to send mine in for repair, failed to fire about 35% of the time. Will wait to see how well the repair goes and how long it takes. I still like the rifle and would buy again. Kygunco is great to deal with, both on the purchas and the repair.

I got it at a good price but the trigger and safety needed a lot of work to get them where they were usable. Both were very stiff. I had to trim some off the safety and replace the stiff spring and polish the trigger sears. Now I like it.If you are not able to do this you will not like it

Slapped an old BSA 36x Target scope I've had for years and it's shooting 1/2" groups at 50yds with Eley Match 40gr.

That said, the trigger is VERY HEAVY.. Easy 7-9lb pull. It's supposedly adjustable, but there are no directions in the manual. My guess is you have to strip it down to adjust.

Safety is VERY stiff and awkward.. Push forward for SAFE, pull back for FIRE. You're not going to slip your thumb up there and flick it back. You're going to put your index finger on it and pull back HARD. My solution will be to just leave it on FIRE. It you want SAFE, flip the bolt up, it's less of a pain to flip down than operate the safety.

It's a bit finicky ejecting spent cases. You've got to cycle the bolt like you mean business. Slow and steady leaves the spent case sitting in the chamber. A good cleaning and proper lubrication may fix this. Internals came well "greased" not well oiled.

I've found nothing that states it, but the barrel is threaded 1/2-28 (US standard), no worries about some weird EU thread pattern.

The " WEBLEY & SCOTT XOCET" name is laser etched on the left side. It's to large IMHO, and makes an otherwise decent looking gun, look cheap.

I wouldn't ever expect to find any aftermarket or factory support for this gun. Stocks, triggers, extra magazines, bolts, replacement barrel etc..

As bad as all this sounds, it's so dang light weight and accurate, right now I'm debating on ordering a second one.
