I’ve had a lot of small guns starting with the Caltech 32 going on the Ruger LCP and LCP Max but this is the one. I just wish the accessories and holsters were available at this time but they will come along. This thing feels so good that I may not even put a laser on it, it points beautifully. Smith&Wesson doesn’t disappoint.

First of all let me say that Kentucky Gun Company is great! Arrived faster than I thought it would. I would like to tell you about gun but it arrived broken . When I took gun apart for cleaning the recoil spring assembly was bent where it attaches to the barrel. I called Smith and they will send me out a new one when they get them in. I have been given no date and they do not seem concerned that I purchased a new gun and cannot use it. This is a bad way to do business and will affect me purchasing another product made by Smith. It's too bad they can't take care of their customers.

Great service from KYGunCo as usual. As for the BG2.0… can’t say enough good about it. It’s a great little pistol, it hasn’t left my pocket since I bought it. I’ve ran about 600 rounds through it. It did not like HORNADY CD at first, especially when manually ejecting (in the case of unloading a chambered round at the end of the day). It has since smoothed and loosed up. Love shooting it, can’t say that about my LCP. I like my G17, G19, G43x, etc., but I don’t want to carry them anymore.

A perfect little gun. First of all it is comfortable to shoot even with my arthritic hands. The grip fits my hand perfectly and the recoil is much less than the original Bodyguard 380 this replaces. Straight out of the box it has been completely reliable--no light strikes or misfeeds. I love the magazine capacity, although it was a bit tough to fully load with my bare hands. The Uplula magazine loader made quick work of it.

First time at range, I had 50% fail to chamber with the new (not reman) 100gr ammo I was using. After manually ejecting the rounds and loading them back into the mag (4 or 5 times for some), all rounds eventually chambered and fired. The next day, I took a different brand of ammo, new 95gr, I had no issues. The reason I give the firearm 4 stars when it was the ammo that was the issue is that the same 100gr ammo fires with no chamber issues from my other .380s so this SW seems to be a bit pickier than my other firearms. BUT I haven't 'broken it in' completely yet either so time will tell. It's a great pistol, small and easy to carry; higher capacity mags than the SW Shield EZ which is a bigger firearm. The short barrel means less accuracy but I still hit the vital areas on the target with every shot (from 7 yds). The 10rd mag means I don't get all fingers on the grip = a little less control, but the 12rd mag fits perfectly.

This is the perfect pistol for "point and shoot" for this 73 yr old man. I'm not fighting anyone or running away, just get off me kinda pistol, it's just what I wanted. It's a very light weight pistol. With the right round this will easily achieve that feat. Practice makes perfect for round placement. Its recoil is very manageable, and I suggest you invest in a speed loader to get all 10 or 12 rounds in each magazine if your fingers are like mine suffering with arthritis and old age. It has a very nice beaver-tail to avoid slide bite and allows the shooter a firm secure grip. On my first trip to the range with I picked up two different boxes of hollow points and a box of FMJ's. There was one failure to feed with a hollow point when it had a full magazine. I would recommend this pistol to friends.
