I bought these sights as I am a fan of Iron Sights and the "old school" way of shooting. I do like and appreciate advanced sights and optics, but when all else fails you need a backup. Batteries will ultimately fail, scopes can break, and laser sights can be knocked out of alignment. Traditional still Iron Sights, once sighted, tend to stay in place even if you are rough with your rifle. If you appreciate the old ways, then these sights are for you.
