Sako’s 90 Varmint offers both flawless long range precision with a timelessly classic design. The stock is made from laminated birch, and is extremely stiff and rigid. It utilizes a Monte Carlo cheek piece to promote proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and a mounted optic, and optimized pistol grip geometry ensures proper hand placement and shooting ergonomics. The forend is wide for greater stability when shooting from a benchrest or a prone position, and rubber butt pad comes standard to alleviate recoil. The 90 Varmint comes standard with Sako’s multi-select trigger mechanism. This allows the shooter to choose from five different pull weight settings without having to disassemble the rifle, and provides a consistent way to way to learn to pull the trigger to achieve maximum accuracy. Trigger blade position can also be adjusted for the best shooting ergonomics for any hand size.
