HI-POINT JHP 45 ACP 4.5" 9rd Pistol - Black

I received exactly what I read about in reviews. This is a very big and heavy pistol but it shoots .45acp and that’s what I wanted. It was on sale for $138 total cost! I spend slightly less to fill up my truck’s gas tank. I’m satisfied.

Kygunco processed my order in a timely manner and it was shipped and received by my local ffl in just a few days. I like the HiPoint JHP 45 since matches my carbine of the same caliber by the same maker. Fortunately, MCARBO makes a replacement sear spring that lowers the trigger pull to something reasonable (about half). Overall I'm well pleased.

Great gun for the price.

I have not fired it yet, but I held it up aiming it and it was held steadier than I've aimed a weapon in a long time. It is very heavy but I guess that will keep recoil down. I'll try to remember to come back and update when I get to fire it. Great looking weapon.

I ordered this gun because reviews and friends all said it was reliable. It is heavy, but sitting in my truck console it is fine. I reload, but the manual that came with it suggested using only fmj. I have not had a fail to fire or jam in several clips I have fired. I am patiently waiting for them to come back in stock so I can order another. I can get 3 of these for what I pay for name brand 1911s that just sit in safe collecting dust. I doubt I will ever fire enough rounds to require me to clean the weapon and am old enough that taking it apart "just for fun" doesn't seem necessary. I think the jhp is one of the best deals available for a 45acp firearm. I keep re-ordering products from kygunco even though their upgraded computer on site no longer shows my orders before Aug 2021. They have shipped everything I ordered in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Ky gun co. could not have been better! The High Point, however, hangs up about every third mag. I would not recommend it!

I would have given this a 4 rating if the take down for cleaning was easier and tool free. A solid banger otherwise.

We have always been fans of the high point. Its a heavy gun but it can't be killed. It is very reliable and a perfect gun for home defense.

After enjoying my 9mm carbine, I decided to try out the JHP in .45 from Hi-Point. Im glad I ignored everyone. This has been a flawless firearm. Ive already spent more in ammo than the gun cost. Its heavy and ugly but it works.
