The Thorn is a 1911 tactical officers model with a rugged foundation of the frame, slide & barrel; all CNC machined from bar-stock. This pistols base design is a traditional Officers size 70 series 1911, which is very popular for carry applications. The Thorn encompasses an integral tactical accessories rail, checkered front strap, target-crowned HD-chromed barrel, and a high-performance reverse recoil system. This pistol also is equipped with even more modern performance additions such as beavertail grip safety, a combat hammer and trigger group, a rounded butt of mainspring housing and frame for carry comfort, an undercut trigger guard, and aggressive thick “No-slip” cocking serrations. As for the finishing, the pistol is lightly dehorned and completely hand-blended, then finished in a matte black oxide finish.
