What makes wingman great is the abundance of above ground food available that doesn't require cold weather for deer to be attracted and consume it. Domain recommends planting this at 8 lbs per acre. When planted heavier you will get more plants, but fewer and smaller bulbs. When you plant it at the preferred rate or lighter, you will have fewer, but bigger plants and better opportunity for bulb development.
Through the rigorous testing, deer continuously fed through this plot from september through january. Starting with the tops from september through december and then hitting any available bulbs from january on.
