Integral suppressor systemB&T combines the extreme accuracy of their renowned APR platform with the and massive sound suppression of the SPR300 to create the APR8.6. Chambered in the heavy-hitting yet easily suppressed 8.6 Blackout cartridge, the ARP8.6 features a state-of-the-art integral suppressor similar to the one found on the SPR300, and utilizes the same chassis/receiver used by the APR series. The result is a rifle capable of precisely hitting targets and intermediate barrier penetration at ranges up to 400 yards – all with a whisper-quiet report and negligible (if any) flash signature.
The APR8.6’s all-metal lower receiver essentially serves as a chassis to which all other components of the rifle are assembled or attached. This chassis also houses the upper receiver, and the contact surface between the upper and lower receiver serves as an unconventional bedding surface. The upper receiver itself is composed of the barrel, fire control group, and bolt group. Cycling the bolt is remarkably smooth and only requires 60 degrees of rotation, allowing for faster follow-up shots. The trigger group on the other hand is part of a detachable module, featuring a two-stage trigger which can be adjusted for pull weight (3lbs – 5lbs) as well as a trigger path that can be externally adjusted without disassembly. For greater accuracy and user adaptability, the ARP8.6 is equipped with a folding stock with an adjustable butt plate and length-of-pull spacer system, as well as a fully adjustable cheek-rest. The stock’s ability to be modified allows the APR8.6 to be adapted to virtually any shooter.
Features of the APR8.6:
- 400 yard effective range
- APR-series receiver
- Fully adjustable, folding stock
- Peilcan Vault hard case included
