Annie Oakley, an American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter, delighted audiences all across America when she was discovered at age 15 and joined Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. At 30 paces she could split a playing card held edge-on, she hit dimes tossed into the air, and she shot cigarettes from her husband's lips...just a few of her many famous tricks that showcased her incredible feats of marksmanship. Throughout her career, it is believed that Oakley taught upwards of 15,000 women how to use a gun, making it a great thing to “shoot like a girl.”
To celebrate this prominent figure in sharpshooting history, Air Venturi introduces the Annie Oakley Lil’ Sure Shot BB Rifle - a must-have for any collector, or would-be airgunner (boy or girl!) looking to start out.
This unique rifle features a stained wood stock etched with Annie Oakley's image and the words "Lil' Sure Shot" across the fore-grip. It has lever-action handle, smooth bore steel barrel. Each Lil' Sure Shot features Air Venturi's LASSO mount system which adds an 11mm dovetail rail for mounting your choice of optics.
