True to other Aimpoint red dots, the CompM5 is designed for the "both eyes open" aiming method which greatly enhances situational awareness as well as target acquisition and tracking. With a rugged design similar to the CompM4, the CompM5 offers users a lighter weight and less bulky option.
The CompM5 is compatible with Aimpoint 3XMag-1 6XMag-1 magnifiers and night vision devices for added versatility. The mount base keys to the body of the sight to absorb recoil for increased aiming stability.
