We invest time and money to prepare every order that is placed on our site, even before the order ships. Once you have placed your order online or with an associate you will be charged a 10% Restocking Fee/Change Order Fee. If you decide to cancel the order or substitute products the order will be cancelled and you will need to place a new order. (Be sure to order the correct item before hitting the submit button) By placing an order online or making a phone order with an associate you agree to pay this 10% (Cancellation/Restocking Fee/Change order fee) should you cancel or change your order. We apologize for having to implement these changes, but it is necessary in order to keep our prices low for our customers.
Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being canceled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is canceled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is canceled after your credit card has been charged, we will issue a credit to your credit card in the amount of the charge.
Purchasing a Firearm online
This simple and very similar to any online shopping experience. The difference is that we cannot send the firearm to you directly. Instead, we have to send the Firearm to a Local Gun Shop or FFL Dealer near you, and you pick your product up there.It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the dealer make sure they take transfers and they will be open to do so. We only need two things from YOU to complete and process a firearm purchase online:

2. Federal Firearms License (FFL): We will ship to a local FFL dealer of your choice. Any legitimate gun store and/or gun dealer has an FFL license. You can also check with your local pawn shops.

How to arrange a shipment and transfer
1. Find a licensed FFL Dealer in your area:
When going through our checkout process, you can browse our FFL Dealer Locator to view FFL dealers already on file. If you decide to use a FFL dealer on file, please call and inform them that you would like to transfer a firearm from KyGunCo.com. It is your responsibility as the customer to arrange your transfer and to verify that you’re chosen dealer can and will transfer the firearm(s) to you.
If the FFL you are looking for is not listed on our website, Please select "FFL is Not Listed" when going through the checkout process. It is the customer’s responsibility to have the dealer fax or e-mail the FFL information. Contact the FFL Dealer and verify with them that you would like to transfer a firearm from KyGunCo.com. Ask the dealer about their FFL transfer fee (usually around $25.00, but varies by dealer). Provide your dealer with our fax number (502-653-8179) or Email (FFL@kygunco.com) where they can send a copy of their FFL (if not already on file). Please note that if the FFL dealer is listed on our dealer locator, we already have the necessary paperwork on file and do not need a copy of their FFL.
To Help Speed up Your Order: Please ask your FFL Dealer to write your Order Number, Name, and Firearm on any corresponding paperwork you or your FFL may send us.
2. Items that qualify for free shipping are only valid in the continental U.S.; AK, HI and other outlying areas have a higher shipping rate. 3. All prices shown are a 3% Discount for Cash, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, or Personal Checks. (3% will be charged to firearm orders for credit/debit card transactions.) We can accept Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, and Certified Checks (There is an option to select pay by check during the check-out process). All orders will attempt to be shipped within 5-7 Business Days (Warehouse items take an additional 5-7 business days for a total of 10-14 business days before it ships) of the time the order is completely processed · the number of days UPS / USPS counts to deliver a package is based upon "Business Days." A business day does NOT include Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, and the day the package was picked up.
Any shipping shortages must be reported within 5 days of the package being delivered.
Ammunition can be shipped only within the 48 contiguous states. Go to ups.com to view all UPS terms and conditions of service. We cannot ship ammunition to HI, AK, VI, GU, MA, NY, PR, DC
BEFORE YOU ACCEPT THE TRANSFER
ALL GUNS ARE NEW AND UNOPENED, WE DO NOT INSPECT THE FIREARMS BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED! · IMPORTANT: When you pick up the firearm at your FFL, please inspect the product thoroughly and confirm that this is the product you ordered, and that there are no defects. If there are any problems with your purchase, simply Do Not Accept The Transfer. We will gladly have the firearm shipped back to us at our expense and provide you with your choice of a replacement or full refund. · Once you accept transfer, the gun is considered used and must be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. Any Firearm that you have accepted is NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. · In the case that a customer is declined in their ATF Form 4473, the customer is responsible for the shipping fee of returning the firearm and a 10% restocking fee will be assessed (see Returns below for more information).
CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT THE FIREARM YOU ORDER IS LEGAL IN YOUR STATE. If the gun you are ordering needs any modifications due to your state's laws (ex: bullet button installed, flash hider pinned), please notify us at the time of ordering to avoid any delays. In the case that a firearm has been shipped to a state where the firearm is not legal, the customer will be charged for the return shipping fee, and a 20% restocking fee. Warehouse Items: · All items labeled as "Warehouse only" will take an additional 5-7 Business Days to ship.
For Pick Up In-Store Orders
Please allow 24 Hours / the next business day (In Stock Items only NOT Warehouse items), for your order to be ready for pick up. All Pick up In-Store orders must be picked up within 1 week (5 Business Days). Pick up In-Store orders that have not been picked up within 1 week (5 Business Days) will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee. If your in-store pickup is a warehouse item, we will contact you when your order has arrived from the warehouse and is ready to be picked up.
Our layaway program is a non-refundable automatic 30% down (unless paying via check), and 90 days to pay the remainder. You can place your order online.
Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Offers are subject to adjustment due to returns, cancellations, exchanges, and failure to pass NICS FBI background check. · Orders cancelled after processing (order has been placed, invoiced and/or shipped) AND unopened items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Goods only accepted within 30 days of the original invoice date. Refused shipments are subject to return freight charges. · If denied on the NICS FBI background check the firearm will be returned to Kentucky Gun Co. at the customer’s expense and a 10% restocking fee will be assessed.
