Disappointing issues - What's up at Sig?
SCOTT FAUCHEUX - Liberty Twp., OH
" I'm very happy with KYGun Co. but something seems to be amiss at Sig. On my 365 (not fired yet) the slide stop engages almost everytime that I rack the slide! And once it does, it sticks and is very hard to get it to release. I've removed the slide a few times and it's still not working correctly. I hear a little "ting" when I push on the release. Before that, when I received my P365 from my online purchase it was missing one of the mags that was supposed to be included. Called KYG and they said that Sig was short on mag inventory and had decided to ship some with mags missing and directed me to call them. It took quite a while on hold on the phone to get through. Once I did, the Sig folks were helpful but I had to go to their website and register to have the mag sent to me. It arrived fairly quickly. Before that, I ordered some Alpha 1 steel rings to mount a Sig scope on a new bolt action .308. One of the screws broke during the mounting while it was still below Sig's recommended torque for mounting. They over-nighted new screws, but something seems to be wrong at Sig. I've always had a high opinion of their product quality. Now I'm questioning it very strongly. 3 issues within 1 month?! Seems like more than an isolated problem. Ranges were close, so I've only done dry fire training with it so far, but I like the feel and look of my P365. Without the missing mag and the defective slide release, I would probably rate it a 5 Hopefully I can get this defect resolved quickly somehow and I'll end up with a firearm that I'll be pleased with but I will be a little hesitant to buy my next Sig product, unfortunately. " This Sig 365 is the finest sidearm I have ever owned is the past 50 years. It is remarkably accurate & reliable. It easily fits in my front jeans pocket with a clip or pocket holster. An IWB holster is super comfortable. The 10 & 12 round mags offer all the capacity I could ever need of a carry gun. The sights are BRIGHT in day or night. "

" So far so good; 200 rounds down and it ran flawless out of the box. The shape of the grip in my hand felt great. I highly recommend. "

" Was on the fence between P365 and Hellcat but with price KYG offered it was an easy choice . now having put several hundred rounds through it I'm very pleased especially with the trigger vs. the Hellcat. Thanks KYG. "

" Took a chance on Sig fixing their problems and so far so good. 300 rounds and no failures of any kind. So far love the gun, five stars if that continues, one star if it doesn't Life's a gamble. "
BRIAN MCGRATH - Schenectady, NY
" After all the positive and negative hype that has gone on for the past months, I think it is time to check out the P365. I am happy that I bought through Kentucky Gun Co. at a price that was worth waiting for. Shipping was smooth and fast and the gun has so far proved to be spot on target and handles FANTASTIC. Heavier than my Glock 43 but puts more weight forward to settle back into sight picture a perceptively faster. They must have perfected the design because two other companies have announced the release and future release of competing 10+1 sub compact 9mm. They will have a really high bar to get over in my opinion. Thanks Kentucky Gun! "

" The P365 did not disappoint. It is now my favorite single stack pistol. The trigger is good, the sights are good, and the capacity for its size WOW! I can't wait to get the 12 round magazine for the extended trip. 5 stars.q "
